Canadian tourism numbers are back in a big way this summer in Cape May County. The County’s department of tourism reports that the Quebec Construction Holiday runs through August 6th and Canadian currency has increased in value, which translates into big visitation to the Jersey Cape. 33

The annual Kerr Memorial Lifeguard races in Avalon scheduled for Sunday night were postponed due to high winds and dangerous water conditions. The races will instead be held on Tuesday evening at the 35th Street beach in Avalon, the same night as Avalon’s National Night Out event next to Community Hall. ##
