The West Cape May Borough Commission meets Wednesday night and could discuss prohibiting the intentional release of balloons at various celebrations for environmental reasons. The Commission may also discuss prohibiting the intentional release of doves and “like birds” during similar celebrations. ##
Property taxes and sewer utility bills can now both be automatically paid for in Middle Township. The Township has announced a new system that allows property owners to automatically have these bills paid for through authorized private accounts. Payment options are available on the Township’s website. ##
Cape May County has announced plans to conduct additional mosquito spraying operations tonight, and possibly Thursday night. The County intends to spray for the annoying bugs in Middle Township, Upper Township, Lower Township, and in West Cape May.
