REPORT: THIRD DOLLAR GENERAL STORE APPROVED FOR UPPER TOWNSHIP

A third Dollar General store is coming to Upper Township. The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Township’s planning board approved a site plan for the store to be located on Route 50. The meeting ran long with citizens objecting to the construction of the store, citing traffic and property value concerns.

COUNTY PROSECUTOR ROBERT TAYLOR TO RETIRE THIS WEEK

It’s the end of a career for Cape May County Prosecutor Robert Taylor. Taylor has reached the retirement age of 70 for a prosecutor and announced that he’s through on Friday.
