BOARDWALK HALL MAY BE NAMED AFTER SENATOR WHELAN

Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall may be renamed in order to honor the late State Senator James Whelan. Legislation has been introduced in Trenton that would rename the building the Senator Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall. Whelan was set to retire this year; he died on August 22nd.

COURT HOUSE FIRE COMPANY TAKES DONATIONS FOR “HARVEY”

The Cape May Court House Fire Company is accepting donations in behalf of Hurricane Harvey victims. Items that are needed include personal items like shampoo, toothpaste, and diapers; bleach is also needed as it’s in high demand. Donations are accepted from 9am until 3pm through September 19th.
