JUVENILE BUSTED ON DRUG CHARGES IN WILDWOOD CREST

Wildwood Crest Police have charged a teenager from Manalapan with DWI and drug offenses during a motor vehicle stop last week near Charleston and Bayview avenues.  Police say the juvenile was under the influence and had drugs in possession; a lock box found in the car also had Xanax and cash. ##

VINELAND COP ACCUSED OF TAKING MEDS FROM MEDICINE DROP BOX

Vineland Police have charged a city police officer with swiping drugs from a Project Medicine Drop box at police headquarters while he was on duty.  30 year old officer Richard Janasiak was charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs, according to The Daily Journal.  He has worked for the department for over three years. ##

ATLANTIC CITY RESIDENTS BATTLING SALE OF WATER AUTHORITY

Petitions that include over 2,400 names were turned in to the clerk’s office in Atlantic City as residents line up to oppose a plan to sell the city’s water authority.  Residents are seeking a public referendum on the plan which they say has strong opposition from voters in the city. ##

REPORT: STATE MAY PROHIBIT INTENTIONAL RELEASE OF BALLOONS
