AVALON DISCUSSES MUNICIPAL AUDIT, BOND RATING

Some outstanding news for the Borough of Avalon was announced at the Wednesday Council meeting. For the eighth consecutive year, Avalon received no suggestions for improvement in its municipal audit. Business Administrator Scott Wahl also announced Avalon has maintained its AAA bond rating from Standard and Poor’s. ##

Wildwood firefighters were able to put out a fire that was on the deck of a home on West Taylor Avenue Wednesday afternoon. The fire started on a second floor deck and it was doused in 20 minutes; there were no reported injuries. ##
