NO BUTTS ABOUT IT, WILDWOOD TO BAN SMOKING ON BOARDWALK

Forget about smoking on the Wildwood boardwalk next summer.  The Wildwood City Commission met Wednesday afternoon and approved an ordinance that would ban smoking on the city’s famous boardwalk, and adjoining ramps and stairs.  North Wildwood’s council is expected to approve a similar ordinance during a meeting in June. ##

TWO CAPTURED WITH FIVE POUNDS OF METH IN ATLANTIC CITY

Two adults have been arrested and charged with having five pounds of crystal meth in Atlantic City.  New Jersey Attorney General Christopher Porrino announced that 27 year old Eder Gonzalez of California and 27 year old Sandra Parra-Quintero were both indicted on Wednesday.  Both could spend decades behind bars. ##

MAN ARMED WITH BOX CUTTER ROBS VINELAND SHOE STORE

Vineland Police are looking for the man who robbed a Payless Shoe Store in town Monday afternoon while armed with a box cutter.  Police say the man forced the clerk to hand over cash before he ran out on foot.  There were no injuries. ##
