VINEALND POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT WHO ROBBED PHARMACY

Vineland Police are searching for a man who used a knife to commit a robbery at a CVS pharmacy during the early morning hours last Friday.  Police say the robber showed a knife, demanded money, and ran out of the East Chestnut Avenue store after the crime.  There were no injuries. ##

COUNTY INITIATES PROGRAM TO COMBAT RABIES THIS SPRING

Cape May County is doing what it can to help curtail rabies this year.  County Freeholder Jeffrey Pierson announced that the departments of health and mosquito control are distributing over 31,000 vaccine-laden rabies baits throughout the mainland communities of Cape May County.  Parents are encouraged to tell their children to leave the baits alone. ##

ATLANTIC CITY MAN CRITICALLY INJURED IN MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT

A 41 year old man from Atlantic City was critically injured in a motor vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Pleasantville.  Authorities say David Aikens was heading north on Doughty Road when his car crossed the center line of the roadway and struck a pole.  Aikens was the only individual inside the vehicle. ##
