The New Jersey Tourism Association is lending its voice to the fight against offshore drilling for fuel.  The Association came out today in opposition of the plan being floated by President Trump.  Trump may sign an executive order this week that would lift that ban. ##

STATE TO DISCUSS PLAN TO FIGHT OPIOID EPIDEMIC THURSDAY

New Jersey will outline its plans to fight the opioid epidemic on Thursday.  New Jersey Attorney General Christopher Porrino will head up a panel discussion involving doctors and other state officials on how best to combat the epidemic.  The discussion will be held in Morristown. ##

WILDWOOD TO HAVE SPECIAL ABC MEETING THIS AFTERNOON

The transfer of a liquor license will be considered by the Wildwood ABC this afternoon.  A meeting will be held to discuss the transfer of a pocket liquor license from Therapy to the 21st Amendment Saloon Corporation trading as 2nd Street Annies, Sylvestro’s Back in the Day Dance Club.  The meeting starts at 3:30pm. ##

A grand jury has indicted a South Jersey man on charges that he shot and killed a teenager at a Pleasantville park two years ago.  Isaiah J. Newsome of Sicklerville is accused of shooting Steven Davion Garrett three times at Max Manning Park in August, 2015. ##
