REPORT: LOWER TWP. WOMAN SENTENCED FOR DEADLY ACCIDENT

A Lower Township woman has received a jail term of 200 days, plus four years probation, in connection with a traffic accident that killed her daughter.  The Press of Atlantic City reports that Kristen J. Conner was texting was driving during a 2014 accident that killed her 11 year old daughter. ##

FIRE STRIKES RIGGINS GAS STATION IN WILDWOOD

Wildwood fire crews were called to the scene of a small fire inside the garage at the Riggins Gas Station late Friday afternoon.  It took crews about ten minutes to extinguish the blaze, and the cause was accidental. ##

TWO CHARGED IN WILDWOOD FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT OF MINOR

OLD GETTY GASOLINE STATION KNOCKED DOWN IN OCEAN CITY

Ocean City Mayor Jay Gillian says an old Getty gasoline station located at 9th Street and Bay Avenue has been demolished.  Soil testing is next; the city wants to construct a park at that location combined with lots from two other gas stations that also disappeared. ##
