REPORT: STATE MAY PROHIBIT INTENTIONAL RELEASE OF BALLOONS

The New Jersey Legislature may take action to ban the intentional release of balloons outside because they pose a health risk to animal and marine life.  NJ.com reports that the measure is sponsored by Atlantic County Senator Jim Whelan, but is facing stiff opposition from the balloon industry. ##

CHRISTIE: DEAL REACHED TO EXPUNGE CRIMINAL RECORDS

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie says lawmakers have reached a deal in Trenton to expunge the records of some criminals.  Christie says the move is to help these individuals finds gainful employment in New Jersey.  Both political parties are behind the deal. ##
